Bio
Michael Bunny is a multi styled guitarist based in Western New York State. His experience performing and collaborating with many musicians of varying styles and age groups have allowed him the good fortune of possessing maturity beyond his years. This also shows in his ability to relate to and communicate with students and fellow musicians in a wide age range.
Initially his repertoire was composed of Jazz Fusion and Progressive Rock and he began learning pieces from ensembles like King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant and Porcupine Tree as well as solo artists such as Allan Holdsworth, John McLaughlin, Jeff Beck and Al DiMeola.
From there it was natural for Michael to discover the wonderful combination of emotion and complexity in classical music compositions. He is especially drawn to melodic and Latin compositions.
